It was a busy week for us here in LaBelle, Florida. On
Tuesday we got our new tire covers and installed them on our motorhome. Then later
we went to an afternoon social at Glenn and Angie’s RV site.
On Wednesday we made a quick trip up I-75 to the Tampa RV
SuperShow. We especially liked looking at the new Winnebego Horizon motorhome.
The sleek interior is very different from any other motorhome we’ve ever seen.
The new Horizon model was named “RV of the Year” for 2018.
We enjoyed lunch with old friends Jeff and Carol from
Mission, Texas who were in Florida for a family reunion and vacation. We also enjoyed looking inside the $2 million
Newell motor coach. Every Newell is custom, hand-made and they only manufacture
35-40 new coaches a year.
Julie and I went to a Lovin’ Spoonful concert on Friday
night in Bonita Springs. The band was immensely popular from 1965 to 1970,
but they have continued performing for over 50 years.
