We thoroughly enjoyed our second week at Lake Powell. We
took the boat out this past Monday, which was another warm, blue sky day.

On Thursday, we did our annual run to Dangling Rope
Marina for soft-serve ice cream. Dangling Rope is near channel marker 46 (miles
from the dam) or just over 40-miles from the boat ramp near our campground. We
enjoyed a picnic lunch, followed by chocolate soft serve, the only flavor they
had left (must be near the end of the boating season).

We finally decided to store our boat at Lake Powell,
since we’ve been using it the most there. We found an indoor storage place in
Big Water, Utah, just a few miles up the road from where we always stay at Wahweap
Campground. Friday, we got the boat prepped and dropped it off at the storage
place.
Yesterday (Saturday) we left Lake Powell and drove to Las
Vegas with Mike, Marcia and their friend Regena to spend a week.
